About Shri
Shri Iyer is a highly accomplished product management executive with a track record of delivering exceptional results in the software industry. He has been recognized as one of the Top 25 Software Product Executives in 2021 and 2022 by The Software Report, a prestigious industry publication. Shri has a unique combination of expertise in product management, engineering, and business strategy that enables him to create innovative products that deliver value to customers and drive profitable growth.
Currently, Shri is the SVP of Products and Design at SimpleLegal, a Private Equity backed entity. As the Vice President of Products and Design at SimpleLegal, Shri is responsible for setting and leading the vision and strategy for a mid-market portfolio of legal tech software solutions. Through his product leadership, Shri has helped transforme the business from unprofitable growth to profitable and growing “Rule of 40%” performance across a 4 year period. Shri leads and facilitates the creation of products that deliver value to both customers and the business. His product portfolio includes AxDraft, SecureDocs, and SimpleLegal, which together deliver a complete suite of matter, spend, and contract management capabilities for in-house legal teams.
Prior to joining SimpleLegal, Shri worked at RiseSmart, which is now acquired by Randstad. He served as the company’s Senior Director of Product, where he launched several products including RiseSmart Insight, a real-time performance tracking and analytics product that won several prestigious industry awards. Before RiseSmart, Shri held leadership positions in product and engineering at Oracle, where he gained extensive experience in the software industry.
In addition to his professional achievements, Shri is an active member of the product management community. He actively shares his expertise and knowledge with other product managers through his blog. He also mentors and coaches aspiring product managers, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the field.
